ART FUTURO has been working with interior designers and architects to bring the beauty and versatility of slate veneer to modern interior designs. Due to the flexibility of the veneer, there are little limits to what can be achieved. We can bend it around round shapes or corners.

Hotel Bar

Bespoke and dimmable light panels for a hotel breakfast bar.

The feature wall looks completely different during the day compared to the backlit version at night.

Entrance Focal Point

A wall feature for a London flat, based on an interior designer's vision for a cosmic starry sky or nebula.

To achieve the desired look and feel, ART FUTURO sourced matching slate, embedded hundreds of light fibres into the backing and installed a high-end light source that emulated the natural twinkling of stars to create the desired effect.

An empty space in a beautiful barn house was filled with a light panel that serves a dual purpose.

We have a great selection of slate veneer sheets in stock. They come in many different colours, semi-translucent and non-translucent.

The standard sizes are 1220mm x 610mm OR 2400mm x 1200mm.

Designing Products With A Soul

The design studio ART FUTURO is based in Stirling, Scotland. 

Everything we do is designed and made in our local workshop as a couple. We use modern technologies to support our work as this opens unprecedented possibilities. Still, all our products are handmade and the finishing is a manual, labour intensive process.
